Tuesday 10 September UK News feed. A JUDGE has been asked to rule on whether larking about with an inflatable sex doll amounted to an indecent public display or was legitimate freedom of expression. After hearing a submission at St Albans Crown Court, Herts, that to convict a publican whose customers were seen simulating sex with the doll would contravene European human rights legislation, Judge Colin Colston, QC, agreed and ordered that the trial should not proceed. The case resulted from a Bank Holiday fun day at the White Hart, Hertford, in May last year when "high spirited" customers simulated sex with male and female inflatable dolls. A woman passer-by complained to the police.
